Hydra Endura was born from the bond between two college friends, William Blake Sheldon and Dylan Castro, who shared a passion for fitness and performance. Their countless conversations about training, nutrition, and recovery sparked a mission: to find the most effective way to fuel and preserve the body through endurance.
After years of testing different supplements on their own workouts—especially the benefits of sodium, potassium, magnesium, paraxanthine, and other performance-boosting ingredients—they developed a convenient, powerful stick pack designed to enhance athletic output and accelerate recovery.
The name Hydra Endura came to life during a brainstorming session when William couldn’t stop thinking about two words: Hydra and Endura. It was a perfect fit—symbolizing hydration and endurance, the very core of their mission.
Today, Hydra Endura stands as a commitment to helping everyday endurance athletes stay hydrated, energized, and performing at their peak.

My endurance journey began in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 lockdowns. With gyms closed and routines disrupted, I turned to running as a way to get outside and clear my head. What started as a simple outlet quickly became a passion—one that soon expanded to include biking, swimming, and strength training.
As I progressed into triathlon racing, I faced a recurring problem: cramps, fatigue, and mid-race crashes. No matter how much I trained, something was missing. It wasn’t until I dialed in my hydration—specifically my electrolyte intake—that I saw a real breakthrough in performance. I began experimenting with different products, but none fully addressed the needs of endurance athletes.
After completing several triathlons, I shifted my focus entirely to long-distance running and signed up for my first ultramarathon. The deeper I went into the endurance world, the more I realized that most hydration products didn't suit the needs of sustained endurance.
That realization led to action. Together with my training partner, Dylan, we set out to create a better solution. The result is Hydra Endura—built for endurance, tested on the trail, and designed to help athletes find balance and improve performance in training and everyday life.
